VH1 Your Music Your Lyrics Judged by Grant, Barrymore
Stars of the upcoming movie Music and Lyrics, Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore will be celebrity judges in the VH1 "Your Music, Your Lyrics" contest. The contest, which ran from December 26, 2006 through January 20, 2007 asked contestants to upload a video of an original love song to a special VH1 website and nearly 400 entries were received.Songs are currently being judged online by users until February 2 and then on February 3, Grant, Barrymore and a panel of expert judges from VH1 will pick the lucky winner who will be flown to Los Angeles for the premiere of the movie, Music and Lyrics as well as have their song professionally recorded.
The world premiere of the movie will also benefit the National Resources Defense Council, an environmental organization dedicated to preserving wildlife and wild places, with 1.2 million members worldwide.
