BBC News Worst Lyrics List is Limp
BBC News has come out with their "Top 10 Worst Lyrics" list. Unfortunately the BBC top 10 list is a bit limp in its criticism. Taking top horrors on the BBC list is pop singer Des'ree with her hit song "Life".While these song lyrics are indeed dreadful, they do not compare to most of the lyrics that we list on our Worst Music Lyrics list. One area in which we agree with the BBC, however, is listing U2 as a purveyor of some of the worst lyrics of all time.
We've chosen a different set of lyrics to critique, though than those listed by the BBC. But, no matter as it just goes to show that even though you're a mega star like U2, that you too, can write occasional clunkers.
To say the BBC list is kind of lame is harsh, but true. There is no mention on the BBC list of the worst set of lyrics of all time, The Steve Miller Band's "Abracadabra". What up with that, Dogs?
