This Is My Now Wins American Idol Songwriter Competition
Seattle is steaming hot right now. Both American Idol contestants, Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis tried out for Idol in Seattle. And, now the winning song from the American Idol Songwriter competition comes from Seattle residents Krippayne and Jeff Peabody.Yesterday, I blogged about how many of the 20 songwriter finalists had created personal empowerment songs. This Is My Now lyrics are all about the theme of personal empowerment, courage, not hanging onto the past, letting go and giving oneself a chance for a bright future based in the now.
Seattle may be cold and rainy, but it's a steam bath right now as American Idol eyes and ears are tuned into the talent coming out of the Northwest.
