McDonald's Starts Tornado Dropping Twista for Lyrics
McDonald's Corporation has caused a tornado of controversy by dropping rapper Twista from a 10-city concert tour because of what they are calling "derogatory lyrics". The fast food giant has decided to drop the potty mouth rapper because of explicit language and references to drugs in the lyrics.Twista is known for his hits "Slow Jamz" and "Overnight Celebrity" with Jamie Foxx. McDonald's has stated that they are all for freedom of speech and artistic expression but that they don't endorse explicit and derogatory language.
Twista is blaming Don Imus and the flap he has created within the hip-hop industry for McDonald's whirlwind decision.
