Luciano Pavarotti Mourned Around the World
Well, I usually try to keep this blog focused on lyrics, but every once in a while, some big news event happens that I need to call extra attention towards. Speaking of big, one of the world's most beloved opera singers, Luciano Pavarotti, has passed away at 71-years-old and people are mourning his death in Italy and around the globe.Pavarotti had the pipes and the charm to cross all musical boundaries, plus he even appeared in movies and on television. For his life's work, I give this tenor a ten and two drums up. Pavarotti you will be missed.
Luciano Pavarotti died of pancreatic cancer in his home at Modena, Italy on September 6, 2007.
